Zucchini in Black Butter Sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook the zucchini whole in boiling, salted water until tender but not mushy. Drain, trim the ends, then slice.
  2. Heat the butter in a small saucepan with the sage until the butter is dark brown.
  3. Sprinkle the cheese over the zucchini, season to taste.
  4. Plate, dress with the butter, and serve.
